Radiofrequency-Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL) for the Body

BodyTite uses concentrated directional radiofrequency (RF) energy to aid in removing fat. As the radiofrequency waves from the BodyTite device are delivered from above the skin to the underlying fat, the fat cells are broken down and liquified (a process known as lipolysis). Being in liquid form makes the extraction of larger amounts of fat simpler and more effective.

Radiofrequency Skin Tightening for the Body

In addition to being highly efficient at fat removal, BodyTite offers the extra benefit of tightening loose skin. The RF energy heats the subdermal connective tissue and skin, delivering the appropriate temperature profile to each tissue layer. This process causes the skin and tissues to contract, which achieves smoother, tighter skin. 

Temperature Monitoring for Safety

The BodyTite device has built-in temperature monitoring to ensure the surrounding tissues and skin do not get overheated and damaged during treatment. This helps us provide a safe and effective body sculpting procedure with BodyTite.

BodyTite Recovery

Since BodyTite by InMode can be performed using local anesthesia, patients have a much easier recovery compared to procedures like liposuction that often require general anesthesia. 

After the BodyTite procedure, your treatment area will be dressed in bandages and wrapped with a compression garment. You can return home the same day as your procedure and should plan ahead of time for someone to drive you and be with you for the first 24 hours. The compression garment can be removed after 48 hours so you can shower, but you should continue wearing your compression garment the majority of the time over the next two weeks (except as needed to bathe yourself and wash the garment). 

Most patients need about one week of downtime after BodyTite, and intense exercises should be avoided until the majority of the bruising and swelling resolve after a few weeks. 

BodyTite Results

BodyTite offers state-of-the-art body sculpting that can improve the definition of your body contours and your skin strength and firmness beyond what traditional liposuction can achieve, all while being less invasive. Most patients achieve ideal results after just one treatment in the target area. 

Some of your BodyTite results will be visible immediately after the procedure, but most patients see optimal results in the form of more slender body contours and improved skin tone and tautness after three to six months. The destroyed fat cells cannot grow back in the body, and you can maintain your skin tightening results by following a healthy diet and exercise routine.

Radiofrequency Skin Tightening for the Face and Neck

FaceTite also achieves tighter, firmer skin with tissue contraction. The radiofrequency energy heats the skin and tissues beneath it to the appropriate temperatures to cause contraction. This process results in greater skin strength and smoothness

In-Office Facial Contouring

The radiofrequency energy delivered with FaceTite is even more concentrated than the RF energy of BodyTite. This makes it possible for us to perform FaceTite in our office, unlike BodyTite or facelift surgery that must be performed in a surgical facility. 

Temperature Monitoring for Safety

The FaceTite device also has temperature monitoring and other features to prevent tissue damage and provide a safe and effective procedure.

Nonsurgical Facelift Alternative

FaceTite is considered an alternative to a facelift for patients who would rather have a minimally invasive procedure than an extensive surgery. If you have mild to moderate fat and laxity in the face and neck, FaceTite can provide results comparable to what a facelift can achieve. 

However, patients should be aware that this minimally invasive procedure cannot improve dramatically sagging skin the way excisional facelift surgery can. 

Radiofrequency-Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL) for the Face and Neck

The RF energy with FaceTite is passed through a medical-grade wand to disrupt and liquefy the fat cells, but it is done on a much smaller scale than with BodyTite. A medical-grade cannula is also used to remove excess fat, but it is designed for pinpoint accuracy to treat smaller areas of the face with remarkable results.

FaceTite Recovery

After FaceTite, bandages and a compression garment will be placed over the treated areas. Patients can go home the day of their procedure but should arrange for someone else to drive them. Like with BodyTite recovery, the compression garment should be kept on for 48 hours, after which it can be removed temporarily for bathing yourself and laundering the garment. It should be worn consistently for the next two weeks except as needed for showering and laundering.

Patients generally need a day or two of downtime after FaceTite, after which they can resume work and normal activities but should refrain from strenuous exercise for a couple of weeks. 

FaceTite Results

Bruising and swelling will initially camouflage your FaceTite results. Patients generally notice smoother skin and more slender facial contours after a few days, and full results are usually visible within a few months. 

Like BodyTite, the fat removed with FaceTite will be gone permanently. The skin tightening results generally last up to five years, but patients will always look younger than if they had not undergone a FaceTite procedure. Some patients choose to undergo FaceTite every five or so years to maintain their results.
